Of we nu in de bergen zijn, in het bos wandelen, op het strand liggen of op de piste staan: de rode draad is dat we het liefst in de natuur zijn. De afgelopen 10 jaar hebben we samen veel gereisd. We zijn in de mooiste natuurgebieden geweest in Noord-, Midden- en Zuid-Amerika, Afrika, Australië, Nieuw-Zeeland en Europa. Van de mooiste gebergtes in Patagonië en de Rockies in Canada tot aan de mooie duinen in Vietnam en de mooie stranden met helderblauw water in Mexico, Brazilië en Australië.Whether we're in the mountains, walking through the forest, lying on the beach or on the slopes, the common thread is that we'd rather be in nature than anywhere else. Over the past 10 years we've travelled a lot together. We've been to the most beautiful nature reserves in North, Central and South America, Africa, Australia, New Zealand and Europe. From the most stunning mountain ranges in Patagonia and the Rockies in Canada to the beautiful dunes in Vietnam and the beautiful beaches with crystal-clear blue water in Mexico, Brazil and Australia.

Tijdens onze vakantie in Griekenland in 2022 kregen we mooi handgemaakt keramiek in handen, toevallig of niet weer met twee lagen: onderaan de natuurlijke kleur van klei en bovenaan een fijne glazuurlaag. Vier jaar later bezochten we een ander Grieks eiland en kwamen we toevallig precies hetzelfde keramiek tegen waar we al die jaren zo blij mee waren geweest.During our holiday in Greece in 2022 we came across beautiful handmade ceramics — coincidentally or not, once again with two layers: the natural colour of clay at the bottom and a fine layer of glaze on top. Four years later we visited another Greek island and happened to find exactly the same ceramics we had been so happy with all those years.

De maker bleek op dat eiland te wonen. We besloten hem op te zoeken, en van het een kwam het ander: het leidde tot een fijne samenwerking.The maker turned out to live on that island. We decided to visit him, and one thing led to another: it led to a wonderful collaboration.
